The Johns Bambino #2

Dear Fiat 500 Club Members,

The Barossa Valley Vintage Festival has come and gone again.

You may remember last Festival I had the little Fiat done up as a Lady Bird and the one before that it was a Computer Mouse.

This year I was running out of ideas for the parade, then all of a sudden I got this brain storm.
Why not "Preview of a Royal Wedding"

I set about building my creation.
Perched high above the little Fiat sat Charles and Cammila in all their glory.
Cammila looking radiant in her long flowing veil cut from our sitting room curtains. The rock on her finger was enormous.
As for Charles, well he was just looking.

The day of the parade was a real stinker with hot north winds and 37 C +
I was worried that the little car with its air cooled motor would overheat but it traveled slowly for 3 hours non-stop without missing a beat.

It was fantastic to see thousands of spectators along the 7 Kilometer route all cheering and yelling and taking photos in such terrible conditions.

On reaching Tanunda I was pleases to accept first prize for my efforts.
This may all happen again in 2 years time if I am not too old and have another brain storm.

Murray and Joan John.
